07/27/2009 - 10:00pm

This 6-week series will cover everything you need to know to keep your bike tuned up. You will learn to overhaul bottom brackets, headsets and hubs, true wheels, adjust brakes, replace brake pads and cables, and adjust shifters and derailleurs. Class 1 will give you an basic overview to bike mechanics including the names of the parts of a bike, names of tools, fix-a-flat and basic cable adjustments.

West Town Bikes will provide the workstands and tools. Participants must provide their own project bikes, and any other replacement parts needed, which may be purchased before-hand at our sales shop, Ciclo Urbano, or your local bike shop. Storage space will not be provided--you must take your bike with you at the end of each class.
