Build your own wheels!

Participants learn how to lace spokes into a wheel, apply tension to spokes, and make a wheel round and true. Wheel building theory will also be discussed in class. We will be using the Gerd Schraner method of wheel building. 3 cross spoked wheels in either 32 or 36 hole rims and hubs will be built. Using this method makes a strong, reliable and servicable set of wheels.

Week 1 we will lace both front and rear wheels. Week two we will tension, round and true both wheels.
