Join West Town Bikes and Big Shoulders Realty for a bike tour of Humboldt Park on Sunday May 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM. This is our neighborhood, and our shop sits directly on Paseo Boriqua, so we are excited to present an all-bicycle tour of our community. The tour is a four hour 16 mile journey throughout the neighborhood, community area and namesake park of Humboldt Park. Humboldt Park is community area number 23 and sits four miles west of the Loop. Humboldt Park is a community area, a neighborhood and a huge city park, all three named for Alexander von Humboldt, a German naturalist.
