These classes will teach basic bicycle mechanics in a comfortable setting for women and trans. West Town Bikes has space for 8 people to work with a stand and a set of tools. It is recommended that participants bring their own bikes, but if that is not possible, we can arrange for a shop bike to be used in the class.

In the first class, we will go over the parts of the bicycle, the tools used to do most bicycle repair, and we will learn to fix a flat tire. Then, we will go over brake adjustments, and replace brake cables and set up and adjust front and rear brakes.
